Andrew Angelcor only needed about a minute to handle his business at BKFC 50 on Friday.

At 1stBank Center in Denver, he sliced and diced the debuting Brett Hudson, taking home the TKO victory via doctor stoppage just 69 seconds into the opening round of their lightweight showdown. 

“I’m glad that we stuck to the game plan and implemented it; I’ve been known to ditch my game plan and just go a bit wild in the past,” Angelcor says.

“I feel like I did everything that I was supposed to do – I started early, started fast, and got rid of him.”

Angelcor upped his BKFC record to 3-0-1 with the win on Friday. The heavy-handed Barstow, CA product would like to get back in the Squared Circle again as soon as possible – ideally against Bobby Taylor.

Taylor sports an impressive 5-2 record with BKFC, and currently occupies the No. 3 spot on the BKFC lightweight rankings. Taylor has four KO wins on his resume. Angelcor has ample respect for Taylor, but he’s ready to do what he does best and crash the Top 5 rankings at 155 pounds at Taylor’s expense.

“First things first, I win – that’s how it’s going to play out,” Angelcor says. 

“He’s a little slow. He’s an old construction worker – he’s strong as hell. He’s dangerous, that’s for damn sure, but I’m going to be too quick. I’m going to make him miss, he’ll get tired, and I’ll be able to put him away.”
