WILL SANTIAGO

Will Santiago made his BKFC debut in victorious fashion against Jake Young back at BKFC 28. Before entering the Squared Circle, Santiago had a respectable MMA career mostly on the New England regional scene. He made an appearance on the Contender Series against Kevin Holland in 2018 and fell just short carrying the UFC contender to decision. 

‘The Brown Bomber’ as he’s known has tight striking with bouncy footwork and outstanding head movement/defense. He will look to pressure forward but stay safe as he pumps his jab to gauge range from his orthodox stance. He went to a draw with the talented and dangerous Jeremie Holloway who defeated the two-fight UFC veteran Cameron VanCamp in his following performance. 

Santiago was born in Boston and relocated to Jackson Wink after floating out some applications of sorts to various gyms. Jackson Wink answered him first, so there he went. He slept in one of the studio apartments above Jackson Wink and says that as a fighter, the scenario was a dream come true. He comes from a rough background and enjoys working with kids to help shape the next generation into stand up, honorable citizens.
