Robert Fichtner jumped onto the amateur MMA scene in 2023 after teaching himself how to fight at a local fitness gym. With nine amateur MMA fights, five boxing matches and a kickboxing match to his name upon his BKFC debut, Fichter is always up for a challenge and ready to push himself in the ring or cage.

While he started training just to stay out of trouble, get in better shape and be a better parent, he now believes that he is the hardest hitting flyweight on the planet and leans on that power while utilizing technical footwork. With a boxing heavy style, he struggled in MMA with opponents always looking to take him to the ground and grapple, but in the BKFC he can fully embrace his striking style.

Fighting out of Liberal, Kansas, Fichtner idolized Jeremy Stephens for both his fighting style and life before the UFC. He looks to fight with that same power-heavy style and put his opponents away, hopefully not taking damage and getting the job done early.
