MARIYA AGAPOVA

Mariya Agapova is a Kazakhstani mixed martial artist fighting out of Coconut Creek, FL. She competed in the UFC from 2020 to 2025. During her time in the octagon, Agapova became known as a well-rounded mixed martial artist with fast striking and solid offensive grappling. She was discovered by the UFC during her two-fight career in Invicta where she dominated both of her opponents in round one.

Agapova went on to try her hand in traditional boxing in a bout against the BKFC’s Nicole Scaheffer who has had a nice run to date in the Squared Circle. The two went to a draw, so it will be interesting to see how she will fare against what can only be assumed as the highest level of competition on the BKFC roster. If her debut against fellow UFC veteran Jessica Eye is a preview to the level she should expect to face, there won’t be any easy fights in her future, but that only excites a fighter like herself.

Mariya Agapova is a tattoo artist outside of the Squared Circle but remains active in her fight career with no real breaks from competition despite fighting in various promotions.
