JESSICA EYE

Born in Akron, Ohio, Jessica Eye has an impressive 26 MMA fights at the professional level and an overall record of 15-11. She fought for a title against one of the very best mixed martial artists, male or female, in Valentina Shevchenko but was finished in round two with a headkick. Before that, Eye became the Ring of Combat champion in 2011.

Eye’s hands have always been one of her sharpest weapons and have carried her as close to the top of mixed martial arts as one can go without fully getting there. It’s easy to say that if she wasn’t fighting an absolute force in the sport for a belt that she could have been the best in the world, but in this case it’s 100% true. She retired from MMA after hitting a small skid in 2022, *but looks to enter the Squared Circle against a fellow UFC veteran in Mariya Agapova in a high profile debut at BKFC 76 Texas.

Eye credits her drive in professional fighting to an incident that occurred to her and her father when she was six years old. The two were hit by a drunk driver and the accident caused her to be bedridden for six months with a broken back. She also is a victim of child abuse and has a pasion for bringing awareness to the issue.

Despite the recent inactivity, Eye has stayed in incredible fighting shape as seen on her social media. She is a life insurance agent when she isn’t in the gym and has built a career for herself outside of fighting. Look for a finish one way or the other when ‘Evil’ Eye toes the line and hopes to make a statement in the women’s flyweight division.
