Jonny ‘El Toro’ Tello began his fight career in amateur boxing in 2011 at the Canadian National Senior Elite Championships. More recently, the Canadian has spent a lot of time fighting in Thailand where he has appeared on two BKFC cards in the past. Tello ran up an amateur record of 71-16.
He incorporates a Muay Thai style into his fighting and looks to counter from the outside. He uses his jab and lead hook to manage distance and come crashing in with his powerful right when he sees his opportunity.
