David ‘The Redneck’ Mundell started his combat sports career in MMA and ran up a 10-5 record in promotions like Bellator, CFFC & Titan FC. When he made the jump to bare-knuckle, he became a dominant contender early on and went straight to the top of the pound for pound rankings after a small setback from Hector Lombard.

Mundell has faced and beaten the likes of Francesco Ricchi, Mike Richman, Doug Coltrane, Stanislav Grosu & more. Needless to say, his pound for pound number one spot was earned! The middleweight champ has been wanting the Mike Perry matchup because the two have a history. They faced each other twice in MMA, once as amateurs and again as pros, but ‘Platinum’ came out on top both times.

When it comes to the style of ‘The Redneck,’ he is a dangerous power-puncher with extremely elusive defense and a chin to bail him out of any sticky situations he may find himself in. *He’s actually been dropped and come back to win on two separate occasions, which is something we all love to see. His volume and accuracy is well above average so it’s a mix of quality and quantity coming from the Florida striker.

David Mundell fights out of Oldsmar, Florida and embodies that Florida fighting spirit that has become famous in the BKFC’s Squared Circle. He is an advocate for Autism awareness and looks to make a difference in his community in many ways.
