BRANDON GIRTZ

Brandon Girtz is an American mixed martial artist with extensive experience dating back to 2008. Girtz holds a 16-10 record overall in MMA and has spent time in Bellator where he had 16 fights. He made the jump to BKFC in 2022 where he debuted against Jake Lindsey. Girtz fell short in his debut but bounced back emphatically in his sophomore performance where he TKO’ed Christian Torres in round one.

Brandon Girtz fights out of Denver, Colorado, training at Genesis Training Academy. He is very much into fitness when he isn’t training for a fight, so always expect the welterweight to have more than enough gas to go the distance and keep the pressure up the whole time. You will see a high volume style with a lot of clinching and dirty boxing if Girtz is in control of the fight. With more of a grappling style in his MMA days, Girtz knows how to leverage his opponent and fight a smart, but chaotic battle. Expect a finish when he toes the line.

Girtz is a husband, father and follower of Jesus. He believes in getting out in nature as part of his recovery after training sessions and being surrounded by the natural beauty of Denver allows for year-round outdoor activities for the fitness fanatic.
