Where will Justin Ibarrola's path of destruction lead to next?

August 2, 2025

The undefeated Justin Ibarrola continued his path of destruction at BKFC 78.

The hard-hitting Delray Beach, FL product is now 8-for-8 in the BKFC Squared Circle following his decision victory over Roberto Armas on July 12 at the sold-out Hard Rock Live in Hollywood, FL.

Ibarrola entered fight night as the No. 1 contender in the stacked BKFC bantamweight division and was headhunting for his third straight/fifth overall stoppage victory against the battle-tested Armas.

“I’ll give that performance a ‘B’ because looking back I could’ve pushed harder for the finish and ended the fight before it went to the judges,” Ibarrola says.

“I was perfectly comfortable in there the whole time, making him miss and just striking at the right moment. I was coming on most aggressively in the fifth round, and I was hoping it would go to a sudden-death round so I would have more time to get the finish.”

The 27-year-old Ibarrola has fought five times for BKFC in the past 14 months, but he says he’s just warming up. He will become a father before Christmas so he’s dialed in to make the most of his time in the BKFC Squared Circle.

“I think BKFC wants me to fight a few more times this year, and hopefully we can work it all out,” he says, adding that he doesn’t just have his sights set on the BKFC World Bantamweight Title.

“I think there are a lot of people ahead of me in line for a shot at (BKFC World Featherweight Champion Kai Stewart), but if they want to sell a fight, then it’s a no brainer,” he says.

“Kai and I are the top two showmen in the company right now.”
