Drako Rodriguez won big in his BKFC debut Friday.
The UFC vet scored a third-round TKO over Will Shutt in their featherweight clash at BKFC 33 in Omaha, NE, LIVE on the BKFC app.
“It’s kind of fun not having to grapple,” Rodriguez offers with a laugh after his victory. “I’ve always really liked striking, and it’s not a lot of fun if someone just wants to take you down and wrestle.
“There’s definitely a lot of action in bare knuckle fighting.”
Rodriguez wants to stay as active as possible and continue winning in the stacked BKFC featherweight division.
“My fight went pretty well, but it was really fast," Rodriguez says. "I’d like another fight outside the Top 5 rankings, and then we’ll start working our way to the top of the division.”
