Recharged Chris Garcia is ready to make a statement at BKFC 80

August 25, 2025

Chris Garcia is working with a clean slate.

After kicking off his BKFC career with four straight victories, the Clewiston, FL product dropped a decision to Roberto Armas in March. “Dynamite” Garcia eagerly returns to action at BKFC 80 against Austin Lewis on Sept. 12 at the legendary Hard Rock Live in Hollywood, FL, LIVE worldwide on DAZN.

“I view Sept. 12 as my debut,” says Garcia, 26.

“That loss lit a fire under me. It was heartbreaking, but I needed it to re-motivate me again so I can break through to the next level. On Sept. 12, I’m making my debut, and I’m training like I have everything in the world to prove in my next fight.”

What’s the biggest difference between this camp and his preparations for Armas?

“I’ve just been busting my (expletive) and I’m excited again,” Garcia says with a smile. “I’ve been waiting for that call while just staying focused and working hard.

“I’m not letting the devil attack me,” he adds. “Even when the devil does attack me, I just keep my faith in God and keep moving forward.”

Garcia hopes to make a simple statement in Hollywood.

“I’m going to remind everybody that I’m still here,” he says.

“I’m not looking past anybody, but I’m going to show my opponent that he doesn’t belong in there with me, you know? My daughter didn’t like how my face looked after my last fight. It broke her heart, so I’m not letting anybody do that to me ever again.”
