Luis Palomino made history at BKFC 26 on Friday.

With his unanimous decision victory over BKFC World Welterweight Champion Elvin Brito, Palomino – already the BKFC World Lightweight Champion – became the first two-division champion in BKFC history, LIVE on the BKFC app.

“I worked really hard for this. God really tested me during this camp, emotionally and physically,” offered an emotional Palomino, who improved to 7-0 in the BKFC Squared Circle with the victory. “I just proved that I’m the No. 1 Pound-for-Pound fighter in BKFC history, baby.”

Palomino delivered a passionate post-fight speech, thanking his mother and father, and showing respect to the former champ Brito.

“The first thing that I told (Brito), is that he’s a (expletive) champion. He’s a champion, man," Palomino said. "He brought the fight to me hard. I had to bring it up, because he was winning the fight.”
