Kaleb Harris called his shot and delivered.
On Saturday at BKFC 30, Harris defeated Harris Stephenson by second-round KO to earn his fifth victory in the BKFC Squared Circle, LIVE on the BKFC app.
“I told everybody who would listen that I’m sick of these judges making decisions for these fighters, especially for my fights, so it was time for me to start putting bodies on the floor,” Harris says.
“That’s what I went out there and did.”
This was a highly anticipated rematch. Harris and Stephensen first met at BKFC 5 in 2019, with Stephensen taking home a split-decision victory.
“I was able to redeem myself,” Harris says. “It was good for me to go back out there and prove that I’ve evolved as a fighter since my debut.”
Harris says his fight IQ was equivalent to a kindergarten education when he first entered the Squared Circle. Nearly four years later, he says it’s comparable to that of a high school education. He’s proud of how far he’s come, and he’s eager to show more improvements.
“At the end of the day, it doesn’t matter who’s in front of me. All that matters is that at the end of the day they’re going to be laying at my feet.”
