Isaac Doolittle’s biggest takeaway from his BKFC title fight with Mike Richman is simple.
“Breath,” Doolittle says in retrospect.
“That’s probably the biggest thing I’ll try to do differently next time because I was holding my breath for a lot of those punches, hoping he would go down.”
Doolittle more than held his own against the big betting favorite Richman in their BKFC 31 Main Event battle in October before ultimately being stopped in the third round.
Doolittle’s first opportunity to return to the win column is waiting for him in Delray Beach, FL on March 17, where he’ll try to improve to 4-1 against Jake Bostwick (2-2, 1 KO) in the Co-Main Event of BKFC 38, LIVE on The BKFC App.
This is another matchup that Doolittle says fans should be excited to watch.
“Jake is very explosive, he looks like he hits pretty damn hard. He has good movement, he has good combinations,” he says.
“Most importantly, he doesn’t back down. I’m so sick of guys that run from me because you’ve seen what I can do when they engage.”
