BKFC Prospect Showcase: Howard "HD" Davis

April 21, 2022

Howard “HD” Davis has big dreams in the Squared Circle.

“I want to be the face of Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship,” the 27-year-old Broward Country, FL product says. “I’m one of the younger guys in my division, so I’ve got nothing but time to climb the rankings and build my legacy.

“I’m only getting stronger and more fit with each fight,” he adds, “so the future is bright.”

Bare knuckle boxing, Davis explains, is nothing new for him.

“I’ve been doing bare knuckle boxing since I was a kid. Fighting has always been my thing,” he says with a laugh.

“I used to fight as a youth in elementary school, high school, fighting grown men. Whenever there was a problem, I’d solve it with my fists. Now there’s a whole lot more technique involved, obviously, but it’s the same thing for me at the end of the day.”

Davis is coming off a unanimous decision victory over Rusty Crowder in his Squared Circle debut at BKFC 23, and a first-round KO in a professional boxing match in January.

He returns to action against Josh Wright at BKFC Fort Lauderdale on April 21 at Charles F. Dodge City Center, LIVE on BKTV

His prediction?

“I’m expecting a knockout,” he says. "Every fight I go in to, I'm looking for a knockout."
