After 59-second debut, Brandon Shavers ready to climb the BKFC rankings

October 3, 2022

Brandon Shavers lived up to his nickname in his BKFC debut.

On Saturday, “The Shredder” needed just 59 seconds to cut through the opposition of Nathan Mitchell in their bout at BKFC 30 in Monroe, LA, LIVE on the BKFC app

Shavers, a veteran of nine pro MMA bouts, is happy to score a knockout, but he was admittedly hoping to spend a bit more time in the Squared Circle in his highly anticipated debut.

“I got a bit of the experience I wanted, but I’m just ready to get back in there,” Shavers said with a laugh.

Now with his first bare knuckle fight under his belt, Shavers has his sights set on moving up the rankings. Two names that come to mind are Kaleb Harris and Noah Cutter, who both also scored KO victories at BKFC 30 on Saturday.

“I’d really like to fight one of those guys.”

Shavers can’t help but smile when asked about his aspirations for the next 12 months.

“I want the belt,” he said with a chuckle. “That’s what I want, nothing less.”
