Zedekiah Montanez or ‘Zed’ as he more commonly goes by, has been fighting for most of his life. He began boxing at age 14 and then transitioned to MMAfour years later. As a North Philly guy, he grew up around violence and is thankful that he has the chance to get paid to fight. He actually started eyeing a BKFC debut because he saw it as a big opportunity to grow his wealth and legacy. *He will debut in his home city at KnuckleMania V against Brandon Meyer.
Montanez was discovered at the epic Philly tryout session which hosted the largest number of potential BKFC prospects to date. He feels that his normal MMA and boxing training has sufficiently set him up for success in BKFC.
Montanez has two kids and hopes to set them up well with his fighting career.
