As one of the youngest fighters on the BKFC roster, Zach Russ has a mountain of experience for his age in amateur MMA over a very short amount of time. His last amateur MMA fight in 2025 resulted in a title fight win in Hard Rock MMA, a Kentucky regional scene. Sitting at 2-0 as a professional mixed martial artist, Russ made the jump to the BKFC and has a chance to set the light heavyweight division on fire with a few wins at his age.
Russ is not only active in his fight life, he stays busy outside of the octagon and now Squared Circle. He works fulltime in a nursing home and is currently in nursing school.
