Tony ‘Loco’ Soto began his combat sports career in amateur MMA where he went 1-1. He made a successful jump to boxing for a brief time before first stepping into the BKFC’s Squared Circle, and he’s looked unstoppable in the lightweight division. *Soto has scored wins over all of his opponents to date, including Tyler Goodjohn and Kevin Croom.

In the Croom fight, Soto did the unthinkable, landing 89% of his strikes in a full five round, 10 minute fight. He was on the defensive against the aggressive clinching from the UFC veteran and gave him more damage than he may have taken in his entire career. Soto is incredibly well-rounded and presents a very wide range of threats to anyone who toes the line against him. Despite the constant goofing around and smack talk, Soto should be taken seriously when he toes the line. With the ability to shift a game plan mid-fight from pressure striker to counter striker, we also see a high level of fight IQ from the gifted athlete.

*Soto earned his first title shot on the BKFC’s biggest card to date, where he headlined against the Argentine, Franco Tenaglia for the vacant lightweight title.

‘Loco’ was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY and reps the city despite having relocated to North Carolina. He calls himself “The King of the Carolinas,” and who can argue with him at this point? He skates in his offtime and stays active in and out of camp. When it’s all said and done for Soto, he will go down as one of the BKFC’s greatest lightweights and most entertaining personalities.
