Rodney Thomas made his professional debut in BKFC against Fernando Gonzalez. He fell short in that matchup, but he fought an experienced MMA veteran and didn’t look out of place doing so.
The southpaw prefers a technical fight from distance but he’s shown that if his opponent decides to crash the pocket, he can not only take the shots but deliver powerful ones right back. The gritty California native looks to start a run into the rankings after he strings a couple of wins together in his divisions.
Thomas proudly calls himself a son of God and tries to instill those values into his daughter. He sees a big future for himself in the fight game and is sure to have fun along that way while he grinds to the top.
