Born in Cincinnati, Ohio and now fighting out of Pori, Finland, Prince McLean has been surrounded by greatness for a lot of his career. From traveling to Pride events with Team Hammer House and Mark Coleman to training at the JG Academy alongside the likes of Rich Franklin, Matt Brown, Dorian Price and countless others. Going from a Catholic high school wrestling career to rubbing shoulders with some of MMA’s legends has not gone to his head.

At 16, McLean began training with Coleman and the late Kevin Radleman in the early 2000’s. Other than extensive MMA experience, including a fight on season seven of the Ultimate Fighter, McLean has a lot of international kickboxing matches to his name so striking is a passion. While McLean splits time between the U.S. and Finland, he calls Finland home and trains out of Nordic Chess Boxing under Tero Tuomi while he is there. In the United States, he trains out of a private gym in Bowling Green, Kentucky called Fuel Fortress with Joshua Briggs. Prince McLean is very much giving his coaches and training partners all of the credit in the world for his current spot in life and wants them to share the spotlight with him.

Living a private life on the countryside near the sea, McLean does not have social media which is rare for a fighter looking to grow his reach. When asked about the reasoning for his lack of marketing he said, “I’m like a rare Pokemon. I want to try a different approach and use my charisma and style to make fans curious and interested, not just followers online.”
