Parris Boyd had a nice run in amateur MMA with a 12-6 record from 2008 to 2016. During that time he won two titles, one on a Michigan Regional scene and another in Xtreme Cagefighting Championship. Since turning pro in late 2019, Boyd is 0-4 as he decides to drop the gloves and turn to a new sport where your left and right hand are the only things you can use to finish your opponent.

Boyd is a solid striker who only struggled against submission artists and point fighters in his MMA career. When it comes to standing in the middle of the cage or in our case the Squared Circle, he welcomes a brawl and knows he doesn’t get paid by the hour.

Parris Boyd made his BKFC debut at BKFC Fight Night Michigan where he is the hometown fighter against a two-fight experienced Ruben Arroyo.
