Nick Kohring is an American mixed martial artist entering the BKFC with a professional record of 13-2-0. He fights out of Stockton, California and that means he has to train out of the city’s most high profile gym, Caesar Gracie Jiu Jitsu along with the Nick Diaz Academy . The gym has a reputation for creating fighters with hate in their heart and toughness that is oftentimes unmatched.
Kohring appeared on season 17 of the Ultimate Fighter and fell short to Luke Barnatt by unanimous decision. All but one of his wins come by finish with a slight edge coming via submission over T/KO and along with the high finish rate, they’ve mostly come in round one. Kohring brings a pressure heavy style into the Squared Circle and believes in his power over anything else.
Nick Kohring may be new to a lot of the BKFC audience but he is very respected on the west coast for his willingness to entertain and fight tough fights.
