Lewis Garside had an extensive amateur MMA career starting back in 2009 and running until 2017. During that time, he only lost to Harry Hardwick who looked unstoppable on the Cage Warriors scene but lost his short notice UFC debut.
Garside turned pro in 2015 but had his first fight in 2018 against a journeyman and did exactly what he was supposed to do with a round 1 knockout. When he first fought in the BKFC, Garside faced three fight veteran Bartek Kanabey and won a dominant decision.
