JULIO PEREZ RODRIGUEZ

Julio Perez made his BKFC debut in Miami on a Fight Night Prospects card. He took on Kory Moegenburg and absolutely dominated the evening. The southpaw throws 100% into every punch and tends to prefer more wide shots instead of straight ones. The reason this works so well for his style is that he has excellent head movement and a 79 inch reach.

In his debut, Julio Perez only absorbed a single strike while landing seven of his 17 thrown. Despite not having a long performance, we learned what we needed to about Perez which is the fact that he is a big presence in the Squared Circle and uses that to bully his opponent. Perez is no doubt a handful for anyone toeing the line against him and if he can improve the technical side of his game, he could see the rankings in his cruiserweight division sooner than later.
