JOSHUA OXENDINE

Joshua Oxendine grew up fighting on the rough streets of Pembroke, North Carolina. Fighting was a way to survive for the boxer and mixed martial artist turned bare-knuckle fighter from early on and he carries an immense amount of passion into every one of his bouts. At age 14, Oxendine began boxing in an amateur setting and holds a 5-0 record as a professional upon his BKFC debut. Outside of boxing, which was his first love in the fight world, the North Carolina striker holds a 10-7 record in MMA and a 3-2 record in bare-knuckle.

Oxendine holds his Christian faith, wife and kids and his Native American heritage in the highest regard. As an active preacher and member of the Lumbee Tribe based in his state of NC, community values push him to be the very best example that he can be. He has coached his three daughters to pursue boxing and they have shown to follow in their father footsteps with zero losses amongst them in their young careers.

Oxendine came from humble beginnings after losing his father at age 14 and becoming homeless with his mother. He lived in a van for a time and was forced to bounce around from friends' houses but is now living out his dream as a fighter and role model. The most dangerous thing that you can tell a man like Joshua Oxendine is “you can’t do it.” He looks to make good on his BKFC debut at KnuckleMania VI against Travis Thompson on February 7, 2026.
