Joe White entered the BKFC’s heavyweight division from the world of traditional boxing. While not quite finding his footing in his original sport as a professional, he was 175-15 as an amateur boxer. He has also found a good deal of success in the Squared Circle having defeated Caleb Avila and Kendrick Miree.
In his debut BKFC performance, he welcomed in one of the scariest men across the entire roster in Leonardo Perdomo and fell short. Every other of Perdomo’s opponents has been knocked out in round one so the ceiling of the up and comer is difficult to determine. He will dominate mid to lower levels of competition, that is for certain, but there is a wide gap of skill in his past opponents. Luckily for the experienced striker, he is picking up the sport of bare-knuckle quickly and vastly improving fight after fight.
White is taking his BKFC career very seriously and looks to continue to sharpen his striking skills against better and better levels of fighters. Look for a high fight IQ and the ability to fight wherever he wants to fight based off of his perceived weaknesses of his given opponent.
