Joe Lauzon is one of the most accomplished MMA veterans to enter BKFC, bringing a 28-15 professional record and nearly two decades of experience at the sport’s highest level. A Massachusetts native, Lauzon made his UFC debut in 2006 with a 48-second knockout of former champion Jens Pulver and went on to compete in 27 UFC bouts. His MMA résumé includes victories over Jens Pulver, Melvin Guillard, Jamie Varner, Jeremy Stephens, Michael Chiesa, Takanori Gomi, Diego Sanchez, and Jonathan Pearce.

Lauzon is best known as an aggressive, finish-first mixed martial artist with a dangerous submission game and opportunistic hands. Of his 28 MMA victories, 17 came by submission and nine by knockout or TKO, reflecting a well-rounded approach built around scrambling, grappling transitions, and the willingness to trade when an opening appears. He enters bare-knuckle competition as a first-time BKFC fighter, scheduled to face Braeden “Stash” Kuykendall at Fenway Park in Boston.

Outside of fighting, Lauzon has also been identified as a former IT professional, giving him a career background beyond competition. He has spoken publicly about growing up a Red Sox fan, playing baseball as a child, and watching Boston’s World Series success during his college years—making a Fenway Park debut a particularly personal milestone.
