JESSICA BORGA

Jessica ‘The Black Widow’ Borga is an American mixed martial artist fighting out of Lakeland, Florida. She spent some time in Bellator where she faced a high level of competition including Leah McCourt and Talita Nogueira. Borga is a striker with a punch heavy game, even in her MMA days and when she debuted against Sarah Click at BKFC 32 Orlando she continued to show her aggression. She dropped Click twice in that bout and has gone on to be known as the single most powerful puncher across all of the women’s divisions.

Borga leans into her more girly side outside of the Squared Circle and is affiliated with Shift MMA which has produced some of the BKFC's highest level talent including David Mundell, Jared Warren and Crystal Pittman. Borga is an entrepreneur who has worked in the veterinary industry in the past but her passion is fighting. She keeps up with her side gigs like real estate but fighting pays the bills for her and she hopes to grow that career even further.

She has found herself in one of the most hyped up fights in BKFC’s history after she became the women’s first featherweight champion with a one-punch knockout over Hannah Rankin. From there she has had a high-profile beef with one of the most dominant fighters in the BKFC, Christine Ferea. The two bring their championship status to meet at a middle weight division of 135 to fight for the Queen of Violence title in Newark, New Jersey.
