Ishiah Carson entered BKFC as a shorter notice replacement to take on the rising Ramiro Figueroa. Carson had a single bare-knuckle fight before stepping into the Squared Circle which he fell short in but bounced back in a big way as an underdog against Jared Lennon. Before that, he ran up a 3-3 record on the amateur scene and fought for a title in his second ever bout in Peak Fighting based out of Arkansas.
Carson calls himself a freestyle fighter and he brings that controlled chaos into any cage or ring he steps into. The only way that Carson has lost in MMA is by way of submission so he is no doubt excited to be in a striking only matchup.
