Gustavo Balart is a Cuban-American mixed martial artist fighting out of Florida and holding a 12-5 record in the sport upon his BKFC debut. With a foundational style of Greco Roman Wrestling and spending some time at American Top Team, bare-knuckle is going to test his striking on a different level. His last fight before jumping over to the BKFC was in ONE Championship back in 2024, and he went 4-4 in the high-level promotion.

He fought for the Interim strawweight title in his last MMA fight and fell short via submission. In his BKFC debut, Balart jumped up to flyweight. His speed will be elite but he will be undersized at 4’9”. Shorter fighters do hold an advantage that goes overlooked since they are able to find the chins of their taller opponents at a high frequency if they can get into range. Balart is able to do this with his speed and precise movements with a blitzing in and out striking style, and don’t be surprised if he leans on his wrestling ability to wear out whoever he faces in the Squared Circle.
