FABIO MALDONADO

Fabio Maldonado is a Brazilian mixed martial artist and boxer looking to blaze a new trail for himself in the sport of bare-knuckle. Maldonado competed simultaneously in the two sports having begun MMA in 200 and boxing in 2022. His long MMA career left him with a 28-17 record while his impressive boxing career gave him a 40-5 record upon his BKFC debut.

In both the octagon and boxing ring, the Brazilian has become known as a hard hitting knockout artist. Over 60% of his MMA wins came via T/KO while he earned an almost 75% knockout rate in boxing, which he still competes in. Maldonado competed in the UFC, RIZIN and various other promotions throughout the years and faced legends like Fedor Emelianenko, Stipe Miocic, Glover Teixeira and ‘Rampage’ Jackson. He’s also fought some of the newer big names in MMA like Jiri Prochazka and Nikita Krylov.

Don’t expect any easy fights for a fighter of his reputation in BKFC despite making his debut late in his fighting career and not having any formal bare-knuckle experience. He debuted at BKFC 71 Dubai against fellow fighting OG John Phillips.
