ERIC DODSON

Eric 'Thuggy Bear' Dodson is the brother of BKFC flyweight champ John Dodson and both brothers strike with relentless, lightning speed hands in an "all gas, no brakes" fashion. Dodson had a brief run in amateur MMA before making his pro debut in the BKFC back at BKFC 28: Ferea vs Starling.

The Albuquerque native looked absolutely unstoppable until he met Robert Armas at BKFC 48 where his brother won his title against JR Ridge. After a setback, you can expect Dodson to fight with a chip on his shoulder being the massively competitive individual he is. Look for Dodson to put on a quick pace every time he appears on a card as with the limited sample size we have of his fights, it would appear the longer the fight goes, he's getting away from his gameplan.

Being a more than humble fighter, trash talking is not something this man does. With a smile on his face, "Thuggy Bear" will look to knock his competition's heads off. It's a concerning site to see the lackadaisical demeanor held by Dodson as he is entering a bare-knuckle fist fight. Needless to say, Eric Dodson feels at home in the Squared Circle and keep an eye on a future contender in the featherweight division.
