Born in Montevideo, Uruguay, and fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, Nielli has compiled a 4-6-1 professional record while competing throughout South America at lightweight and featherweight. His résumé shows a versatile finisher: two wins by knockout or TKO and two by submission, including armbar victories over Sergio Alvarez and Jean Franco Olmos.

Nielli’s most recent MMA run showed both his power and durability. In 2022, he stopped Nicolás Gomez with a third-round body shot, then returned in 2023 to submit Olmos in the second round.
