Diego Romo began his fighting career in his home nation of Ecuador, mostly fighting in Extreme MMA where he holds a record of 3-1. He made the jump to BKFC when he faced Ravon Baxter and the two had an all out war! The fight ultimately ended in a draw, but after that performance, no one can doubt Romo’s toughness or skills. He outlanded his opponent in his debut, but was dropped which caused the push in the results.

Romo is very high volume and will press forward, looking to engage in a firefight. He believes in that Ecuadorian chin and his power equally. 

Diego Romo is comfortable at range but excels in the clinch where he spent most of his time in his debut. Nearly every clinch battle was initiated by him and his dirty boxing is something that any one of his next opponents should be mindful of.
