BRYCE HENRY

Bryce Henry embraces the role of the bad guy as he has looked like the up-and-coming boogeyman of both the lightweight and welterweight divisions having cracked the rankings in both weight classes. His nickname 'Baba Yaga,' references Russia's most feared witch whose origin story references magic, power, fear and immortality.

Henry has tasted defeat in neither his professional boxing, nor his bare-knuckle career and no doubt plans to keep it that way. In fact, he seems to be summoning powers from another realm as he manages to finish better and better competition faster as he moves up the BKFC rankings. With a victory over a legend such as Tom Shoaff at such a young age, we may be witnessing greatness in the making for years to come.

Being such an offensively minded fighter, Henry has vastly improved his defense as he has gotten more seat time in the Squared Circle and standing at 6'3" while fighting at lower weight classes, he's got a built-in reach advantage. It seems Henry's father knew his son could achieve greatness and began pushing him at age 10 to reach his boxing goals. After a year of daily training, both he and his brother got the green light to fully pursue their dreams and we are fortunate to see a talent like this blossoming so early in his career! In his words, he's trained every day since he was 10 despite having Graves' Disease, a true testament to his determination. 

The Florida native uses his reach and explosivity to bring the fight to his opponent and being such a student of the game, he has learned from his fellow bare-knuckle fighters along with the all-time greats of boxing and MMA. Keep an eye on this kid for years to come and look for a "fight of the night" contender when Bryce Henry's name graces a card.
