Bec Rawlings has become synonymous with women’s bare-knuckle fighting having participated in three of the first five BKFC events and winning every one of them. The Australian mixed martial artist had a great career before joining the BKFC roster having fought in the UFC, Bellator and all women’s promotion, Invicta with a 8-9 record overall.

Rawlings became the first ever BKFC champion, man or woman, at BKFC 2 where she defeated Britain Hart via split decision. She grew slightly less active after defending her featherweight title at BKFC 4 in Mexico, but continues to fight at the top of her flyweight division against opponents like Christine Ferea and Taylor Starling. *Currently her only losses in BKFC have been delivered by sitting champions Christine Ferea and Britain Hart.

The Tasmanian-born Rawlings has been a lifelong athlete, competing in basketball and gymnastics in her pre-teens. It wasn’t until she began gaining weight and losing a bit of her naturally athletic step before she took up MMA after meeting Dan Hyatt. She debuted as a professional in 2011 and went on a nice run after losing her first fight. Rawlings has faced household names in the women’s MMA world like Carla Esparza, Mizuki Inoue, Tecia Pennington, Page VanZant and more.

Bec Rawlings will bring a high level of technique and speed to the Squared Circle and fight through any level of adversity she may encounter. She doesn’t get rattled when taking power shots and absolutely wants to give one back if she gets caught. The toughness and physicality is rarely matched!

The Denver fighter is now 5-1 with 3 straight wins after his Co-Main Event victoryRamiro Figueroa is riding high after earning the biggest win of his career at BKFC 88. In the Co-Main Event at the sold-out National Western Center in Figueroa’s hometown of Denver, he notched his third straight victory at the expense of former BKFC World Champion Elvin “El Bandido” Brito. Figueroa is now 5-1 under the BKFC banner. “(Brito) is a legend. Everybody speaks highly of his accomplishments in bare knuckle fighting, so this was the next step up that I had to rise to,” the 24-year-old Figueroa says. Mission accomplished. In his last three trips to the Squared Circle, Figueroa has taken out the former BKFC World Champion Brito, the previously undefeated Dalvin “Hippy Disciple” Blair and former BKFC World Championship challenger Howard “HD” Davis. What’s next? Figueroa hopes his next fight will be for the BKFC World Lightweight Championship, or he’d also be more than happy to fight for an interim belt, if necessary. Regardless of what’s on the immediate horizon, Figueroa agrees that he’s at the forefront of the hard-charging next wave of BKFC superstars. “I’m 24, and I believe my best is still years away, when I’m in my prime. If I can secure the belt now, I still believe that I’ll be dominant for as long as I want,” he says. “I don’t understand the full game of bare knuckle yet, but I’m learning more and more with every single fight. I believe that the sooner I win the Championship, it’s going to be even better for me, and I’ll hold the belt for many years.”
