BEAR HILL

Bear Hill made his BKFC debut against Nicolas Blume at BKFC 70 in Hollywood, Florida. He won via third round doctor stoppage after a solid striking display over six minutes. He has high volume for a heavyweight and his accuracy is just above average, landing a majority of his attempts.

Before toeing the line, Hill had a long but inconsistent amateur MMA career with a bout of activity in 2012 and a layoff from then to 2021. While he was active he fought four to five times a year until he turned pro in 2022. He went 2-1 with both wins coming by TKO early in round one and his loss coming by a round two TKO.

Hill starts fast and keeps the pressure on until someone goes down and with gloves removed, we know that the intense pace is going to continue. He’ll show up at weigh-ins with the Scottish war paint and a beard that would make a Viking jealous. The heavyweight division has an interesting prospect on its hands and a warrior that is willing to throwdown win or lose.
