Austin 'No Doubt' Trout is a massive talent who's crossed over to bare-knuckle from the world of traditional boxing. His résumé demands respect from any fighter of any combat sport with matches against the likes of Canelo Álvarez, Erislandy Lara, Jermell & Jermall Charlo and many other household boxing names.
Before becoming the WBA light middleweight champion with a win over Canelo Álvarez's older brother Rigoberto Álvarez, Trout was an active amateur with a 163–42–1 record. He also fell just short of landing a spot on the 2004 U.S. Olympic boxing team despite being the U.S. National Amateur Welterweight Champion that same year.
When 'No Doubt' turned pro, it seemed like there wasn't a man in his division he couldn't knock out. Scoring eight straight KO's/TKO's he continued his win-streak to 26 until meeting one of the best active boxers today in Canelo Álvarez who he went the distance with before losing a unanimous decision. He has made reference to his low activity as a professional boxer and hopes to fight as often as possible in the BKFC before reaching his ultimate goal of being a multi-division champion. Trout became the BKFC welterweight champ after taking out Luis Palomino after just one fight against Diego Sanchez.
Aside from being a true tactician in the ring or in this case the BKFC Squared Circle, the New Mexico native holds his faith at high importance. He posts yearly in September on his social media about Rosh Hashanah with the Shofar and traditional garb and puts a massive focus on being a "girl dad." He uses his platform to speak for those who don't have a voice and is a student of history with a deep thirst for knowledge and a passion for reading. He also pokes fun at himself on social media for his comic book passion.
