Apostle Spencer crosses over from the world of boxing and landed a spot on the BKFC Prospect Series in his hometown of Albuquerque, New Mexico. He was noticed for his sheer toughness by Chris Lytle in a tryout session held again, in Albuquerque where he's partially coached by BKFC bantamweight contender Derek Perez. He's also spent a little time with local legends John and Eric Dodson, both of whom are BKFC flyweight champ and BKFC featherweight contender respectively.

Look for Spencer to come out swinging anytime he toes the line and expect him to search for violence. A little, or in some cases a lot of blood doesn't scare Spencer and he'll have to be put out to stop him from coming forward. With hunger like that, the sky is the limit for the welterweight debutant.

Spencer is a proud father who guides his kids in the world of boxing, training with them whenever time allows. He also works cardio with his Golden Retriever daily, taking her on runs in the Albuquerque neighborhoods. Using both old school training methods like shadow boxing and sparring along with new school tricks like ice bathing and hyperbaric oxygen therapy, Apostle Spencer is open to do whatever it takes to hold gold some day.
