Having his eye on the BKFC back in early 2022, Anthony Sanchez had his first bout canceled and entered the boxing ring instead. With a win in his first boxing match and a loss to follow he transitioned over to bare knuckle against the ultra-durable Derek Perez. The two had bad blood and put on a fight of the night worthy performance together with Sanchez winning early but ultimately tiring out and losing.
The Texas native has sharp hands and solid power to go with them, but hasn’t quite found all of the pieces to string together multiple wins in the Squared Circle. The bad blood from the Perez fight carried into his second BKFC fight against Derek’s brother Gene Perez who he defeated.
After a tough loss to a contender level opponent in Justin Street, the durable and tough Sanchez ends out 2025 against Sito Navarro at BKFC Fight Night Mohegan Sun.
