Alexy Oleinik is a Russian mixed martial artist and combat sambo fighter with a storied career across combat sports. He competed in the UFC and finished his run there with a 9-8 record but holds an MMA record of 61-18-1 overall. Oleinik has faced MMA legends like Derrick Lewis, Fabricio Werdum, Mark Hunt and several others. Outside of the UFC, ‘The Boa Constrictor’ is a veteran of Bellator, KSW.
As an outstanding grappler, Oleinik is known for imposing his will on the mat. He is one of two fighters in the UFC to pull off a win via Ezekiel choke and has done so twice. On the feet, the Russian has big power but is not known for his knockouts having just eight of his MMA wins coming by the method.
There’s no doubt that Oleinik is one of the most experienced mixed martial artists on planet Earth, and despite his age he remains dangerous. Expect to see extremely high fight IQ and an ability to fight wherever the fight may go whether in the clinch or from distance.
