Alexandria Delgado-Lopez's fighting journey was built on overcoming adversity. Raised in poverty and spending part of her childhood in social services, she developed a competitive mindset from her older brother, whom she followed into wrestling at age 14 after briefly trying karate at 12. When her traditional Cuban father opposed her wrestling, she transferred schools at 15 to continue competing, often feeling like the poor kid in a wealthy school. Her father is Cuban, and her mother is Filipino.

At 17, Delgado-Lopez started training Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu for fitness and fun. She immediately fell in love with MMA after scoring a quick finish in her first fight. A controversial loss in her second bout—one she still believes she won—made her realize that while she considered herself a strong wrestler and grappler, she still had much to learn.

At 21, she shifted her focus to boxing and Muay Thai, developing an aggressive style built around technical boxing, pressure, and power. She believes her approach is perfectly suited for bare-knuckle fighting, where she looks for finishes rather than point-fighting. Delgado-Lopez embraces the entertainment side of combat sports and believes fans want exciting fights, not boring, pitter-patter performances.

Now competing in BKFC, she sees herself as an action fighter whose power and style make every fight must-watch. With her sights set on a third BKFC victory, Delgado-Lopez believes she has earned the opportunity to fight for a title immediately afterward. She currently trains out of Wolfhouse MMA in Canada with Parwez Ghulam.
