ADAM DE FREITAS

Not only a tricky striker, but a BJJ black belt as well, Adam De Freitas knows his way around combat. He is part of a tactical unit in the Canadian police force and no doubt, his MMA training helps him stay sharp in the field. Frankly, it’s great that he trains on his own time to be the best officer he can be not only to protect himself, but his partners as well. 

Since 2013 when his career began, he’s had 10 fights in amateur and professional promotions with a pro record of 2-3 upon entering the BKFC. His BJJ prowess will allow him to be a thinker in the Squared Circle and set up his finishes similar to how you’d see a Jiu Jitsu specialist do in MMA. Expect a lot of clinchwork and well timed shots from the middleweight who debuts on the first BKFC Canada card in 2024. 

De Freitas is a father of two boys who he spends as much time with as possible. He is also an avid animal lover and seems to really balance his passion for combat with his love for peace.
