Deemed the Face of Bare Knuckle boxing, ‘Platinum’ Mike Perry has hit an extra gear in his storied combat sports career. Entering the BKFC from mixed martial arts, Perry is a 15-fight UFC veteran having faced high level opposition like Cowboy Cerrone, Paul Felder and Geoff Neal. He was a knockout artist then and his power has translated over to the BKFC having finished former UFC champions like Luke Rockhold and Eddie Alvarez. He also defeated one of the world’s greatest strikers in Michael ‘Venom’ Page on his home turf at BKFC 27.

Perry prides himself on his boxing prowess but what seems to win him fights is his sheer toughness, speed and willingness to get battered and continue moving forward. Being awarded the first ever BKFC ‘King of Violence’ belt, ‘Platinum’ lives up to that title and is a problem for anyone at any weight in the Squared Circle.

Mike Perry grew up in Flint, Michigan with a brother and two sisters. He took up martial arts at age 11 because he was bullied a lot as a minority in his area. After a bit of a troubled upbringing, he got a job at a UFC gym as a trainer and this led to a formal career in the sport.

Perry has always been a family man and remains very close with his mother who supports his career choice despite worrying for her son's safety and well-being. He has had his wife corner him in several fights and the couple have two kids together. Perry’s skills, personality and sense of humor have turned him into a combat sports superstar and he will be at the top of the bare-knuckle game for years to come.
