Evgeny ‘The Sailor’ Kurdanov is a Russian bare-knuckle fighter with a small amount of MMA experience on the side. He debuted in BKFC against the future welterweight champ, Gorjan Slaveski and gave the high-level scrapper some trouble. The two went blow for blow and despite the unanimous decision loss for the Russian, it was a pretty close fight.

Kurdanov enjoys a fight from range and can really benefit from a technical point-style fight. He doesn’t have any knockouts in the sport of bare-knuckle but does hold one in MMA which is very much unheard of. Usually, if a fighter holds power with gloves whether 4 oz or 16 oz, they can crack even better without leather. That element adds a layer of mystery to ‘The Sailor’s’ fight style.

Evgeny Kurdanov trains with his best friends and has a massive support system in his significant other. They have traveled the world together because of his skills and he runs a health and wellness business as a 9-5. He is currently based out of Los Angeles and got to fight in his adopted home in his second promotional fight against Julian Lane on the historic, first ever BKFC card in the city of Angels at KnuckleMania IV.

Despite struggling to find his footing in the world’s premier bare-knuckle promotion, Kurdanov is a gamer and will continue to fight at a high level for the duration of his BKFC career.
