James ‘Knucklehead’ Dennis is primarily a bare-knuckle boxer but tried his hand in some MMA before turning pro. He had a 12-fight amateur career before debuting on the BKFC’s stage back in October of 2021 at BKFC Montana. With matchups against the likes of Sawyer Depee and Rene Rodriguez, Dennis has seen ranked levels of BKFC competition early in his career.
Dennis spent his early fighting career on the Montana regionals and holds some of the fastest knockouts in Montana amateur MMA history including the very fastest at 9 seconds. He holds big power in his hands and has more than sufficient cardio to go ten hard minutes. He is usually out thrown in his fights but still manages to land those night-ending blows after making his reads.
James Dennis is a self-proclaimed “country boy” who’s not one for city life. He runs in the beautiful Montana countryside with his dog and prefers training outside in the elements.
