William “Wild Bill” Albrecht only wishes he found BKFC sooner.

The heavy-handed light-heavyweight prospect has entered the world of bare knuckle fighting after a long run in the cage as a professional MMA fighter. Albrecht’s combat resume includes more than 40 pro MMA bouts.

In his bare knuckle debut at the recent BKFC Prospect Series event in Albrecht’s hometown of Albuquerque, NM, he dropped opponent Freddy Sandoval three times en route to an exhilarating first-round TKO victory.

“A million percent,” Albrecht says when asked if he wishes he could’ve devoted his fighting career to BKFC instead of MMA. “This is fighting, you know? This is really fighting, and I love it.”

Albrecht isn’t sure what his future holds with the world’s fastest growing combat sports promotion, but he’d like to make up for lost time.

“I really felt free in there,” he says.

“I just really enjoyed it. I love fighting, and BKFC is as raw and real as it gets. Let’s see who’s tougher and not talk about it anymore.”
