Tommy "The Farmer" Strydom has always aimed for the stars.

The fast-rising South African fighter is calling for the next shot at the BKFC World Featherweight Title after the champ Kai Stewart (5-0) and Bryan Duran (6-0) do battle in the Main Event of BKFC 62 on June 21 in Hollywood, FL, LIVE on The BKFC App.

Strydom’s callout comes after he improved to 3-0 in the Squared Circle with a unanimous decision victory over Corey Roberts on Friday at the sold-out Liberty First Arena in Omaha, NE.

“I don’t have anyone in my sights except the winner of the upcoming title fight. I want to move forward in my career, and I’m aiming high. Aiming lower than where I want to go isn’t going to take me anywhere, and I want to go to the top,” he says.

“I’m ready to rock and roll.”

Strydom balances his fighting with a career in farming. Less than 12 hours after his fight, he was already back on the tractor in Plainview, NE.

“We’ve got planting to do. Work goes on, time doesn’t stand still, and we can’t be at home doing nothing,” he says.

“Whether it’s on the farm or in the Squared Circle, I just want to work and earn my way to the top.”
