Unbeaten lightweight Ramiro Figueroa puts his division on notice in Omaha

The Denver product aims for his 3rd straight win on Friday

The unbeaten Ramiro Figueroa is ready to put the stacked BKFC lightweight division on notice this week.

On Friday, the fast-rising Denver, CO fighter looks to smash his way to 3-0 with a third straight stoppage victory against James “Get Down” Brown (3-1) at BKFC Fight Night Omaha, LIVE worldwide on The BKFC App from The Astro in Omaha, NE.

Brown is undoubtedly the toughest task of the 22-year-old Figueroa’s blossoming bare knuckle fighting career, but Figueroa doesn’t care who’s standing across from him in the BKFC Squared Circle.

“I just fight whoever they give me, and I’m happy to get an experienced opponent. Nothing has changed. I haven’t stopped training since my last fight,” Figueroa says.

“I’m ready for anybody.”

Some fighters prefer a slower climb up the rankings. Figueroa is not one of those fighters.

“Tough fights and big opportunities like this are all a part of the plan, so I’m just working as hard as I can,” he says. “I’ve always trained like I’m fighting the best in the world, and now I will be.”

Figueroa has covered a lot of ground in his first year under the BKFC banner, and he has much bigger goals for Year 2 with the world’s fastest growing combat sports promotion.

“I want that strap.”
